  • Da Vinci Surgery

Da Vinci Surgery is a minimally invasive surgical option for women facing gynecologic surgery. Using the  Da Vinci, we make just a few small incisions to perform surgery similar to traditional  laparoscopy. The Da Vinci is technologically more advanced and features a magnified 3D high-definition vision system and special wristed instruments. These instruments bend and rotate more than the human wrist. Da Vinci enables  the surgeon to operate with enhanced vision, precision, dexterity, and control.

The Da Vinci Robotic System translates  hand movements into small, more precise movements of tiny instruments inside your body. As a result, the surgeon has very  refined control of movement intraoperatively. The magnification and high definition of the operative field also allow for enhanced precision when performing  extensive and detailed surgery. These advantages have  led to many more surgeries being done with Da Vinci and avoiding the painful recovery associated with open surgery and large incisions. Many patients can go home the same day. The success of Da Vinci surgery in our patients has been overwhelming.
